Introduction

This 1 day workshop enables you to apply the concept of “Colored Brain” Communication and “Emotional Drivers” to better understand yourself and others when you work together in a team.

“Colored Brain” Communication and Emotional Drivers are used in many companies throughout the world, and are validated and accredited by the American Institute of Business Psychology.

The Colored Brain concept dictates that each colored brain acts, reacts, analyses, problem solves and have different tendencies and preferences when making decisions. Everyone is also influenced by their unique emotional drivers. Hence, the understanding and application of “Colored Brain” technology and Emotional Drivers will help to become more tolerant and understanding when working with others; it helps in team bonding, team building and better team engagements and formations. It also helps employees to communicate better with people of different “colored” brains from themselves, and know how to build an environment of success for everyone.

  •   Ice breaker to help tune in for effective learning and participation during day activities
  • Setting ground rules and common goals for the session  
Module 2   Approaching Brilliant Communication
  • Recognise psychological elements which affect team communication e.g.: communication assumptions and perceptions
  • Importance of clear communication and trust within the team  
  •   Group Activity: Analyse the “T Maze” Communication Challenge
  • Debrief: What was surprising? What can you do differently in future conversations and team work?  
Module 3   The Power of “Colored” Brain Communication
  • Understand colored brain concept  – nature v nurture
  • Learn the genetic color brain communication style of each brain color (to understand why people do the things they do)
  • Understand the focus of each color
  • Learn how each color makes decision
  •     Trainer facilitation on “colored” brain concept
  • Videos on 4 colors for participants to determine each “color” brain from the videos  
Module 4 Application, Application, Application
  • Find out your own genetic brain color through the CBCI (CBCI is the Colored Brain Communication Inventory)  
  •     Self Assessment to find out own brain “color”  
Module 5 Looking Through Different Colored Lenses
  • Looking through colored lenses for a deeper understanding of the different ways each brain color processes information before taking an action
  • Group Activity to understand goals, fears, overuses and personal effectiveness of each brain color
  • Group Activity to apply concept learn – Draw a T-Shirt Activity by different “colored brains” to illustrate how each color processes information  
Module 6 Mastering relationships and working with People of Different Colors
  • Learn tips and techniques to work effectively and productively with each color brain
  • Learn how to prevent potential misunderstandings and pre-empt conflictive issues in the team  
  • Group Activity – Apply information learnt towards:Understanding potential misunderstandings and misconceptions between different “colored” brains and
  • Preempting certain conflictive issues in the team  
Module 7 Emotional Drivers
  • Understand the concept of 8 human Emotional Drivers
  • Apply knowledge of Emotional Drivers to analyse and rank your top Emotional Drivers 
  • Be aware and understand how the drivers work to influence our decisions and others in the team
  • Group Activity – Applying knowledge of Emotional Drivers to facilitate effective work relationships    
Module 8 Building an Environment of Success for Everyone
  • Avoiding a “Silo Mindset” and working together as a productive team  
  • Group Activity – “Silo to Hello” to emphasize importance of effective communication, leadership, team collaboration and trust
